This piece was a sneak peak into my mind. As I sat in front of the blank canvas I really wanted to paint with no reference, just my own thoughts being transported from my mind, through to my hands and onto the canvas. This is what I saw. I let the brush takes it lead and followed it to form the trees. It turned out very mystical but peaceful and serene. I love it. This to me is what peace looks like, not just from the stunning landscape of beaches but in the depths of a forest swamp we can look to the trees for guidance and direction. They speak to us we just have to be able to disconnect from the world itself and dive into a divine reality that we were made from.
